Lindsie was born and raised in central Oklahoma. She began her acting/singing career at the tender age of eight, in her elementary school’s Thanksgiving production. In a Native American head-dress, made of construction paper, she uttered her first solo line, “…and the Indians, BIG and BRAVE…” It was all down hill from there. At Edmond Memorial High School, she was selected to join the show choir (ActII for life!!) and enrolled in competitive dramatics. She dedicated all four years to the Performing Arts Department. In 2001, Lindsie was accepted into the Musical Theatre program at the University of Central Oklahoma. There, she studied under Dr. Marilyn Govich, Dr. Greg White, and many other amazing professors. She honed her craft of singing, acting and dancing, learned to build a flat, set a wig and wield a welder’s wand! After graduating in 2005, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, she hopped on board with Holland America Cruise Line/ Stiletto Entertainment. Lindsie traveled the east and west coasts of North America for a year and a half, singing aboard the ms. Maasdam and ms. Zandam. Lindsie made the move to New York City in February of 2007 with the love and faith of her wonderful family back in Oklahoma and the support of her amazing husband, Scott. |
